I have around 70 lily plants ( my mother in law counted ?!?) of all types and sizes . This year I have only had 8 lily beetles which were duly squished. Someone on another post mentioned they used vine weevil nematodes and have seen a reduction in the Red Peril too. I too used it this year for the first time. Normally my first thing in the morning routine is wandering round the garden in the Spideman gardening dressing gown , cup of tea and tweezres in hand to get the blighters. But this year the tweezers have hardly been used.
