    Hebe - lots of different varieties to chooses from

    Its a Hebe, not sure of the name.  There are several, all very similar.

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Don't forget to read the Label, some grow very large!

    And the broader or more succulent looking the leaf, the less hardy in frosts so if you're in a cold area, choose the smaller leaved versions.

    What is the height of the plant you photographed? It looks quite young for the leaf shape type. Based on the type of Hebe of that kind, they normally have an eventual height of around one metre to one and a half. Quite hardy. Two that springs to mind. Saphire and Midsummer Beauty.
