Hung this little bug hotel a few weeks ago, there is a leaf covering one of the bamboo canes for a couple of days, what has moved in?

    Hello Mary370, it looks like a 'Leaf-cutter Bee' could be using the facilities in your bug hotel.  Take a look at http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/species/leaf-cutter-bee for more information.  Hopefully you will see a few more holes being filled in, great fun watching a bee fly past carrying a leaf cutting!

    Thanks for the link Jacodsback, I didn't know there were solitary bees.
