I need design idea for my garden

My house has a fence and there's a space to put some plants of flowers but its too much rocks underneath. I tried planting different flowers and it all died. Beside the fence is a giant pine tree. I have grown hellebores in very shady conditions and there are lots to choose from, even had success under very shade massive conifers. Good luck.
