Murky Pond
Have a wonderful, quite large pond with fish and frogs etc but it is rather murky. Any suggestions to clear the water would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

get rid of the fish, or invest in a decent filtration system.
as its the fish (and their waste products and rooting round in the bottom) that is causing it to go murky
Thanks treehugger80. Will certainly consider it.
as th says it's due to an imbalance.
Fewer fish, less waste, the plants will use the fish waste and you have clear water.
Too many fish, the plants can't use up their waste fast enough so you get murky water.
More plants may help, but either less fish or get a decent bio-filter - they're not expensive
If you've got a build up of dead leaves etc on the bottom, that would also contribute to the murky water
