Hi It's the same here Chris rain all week, managed to pick few rasp and mange tout, some strawberries going mouldy with damp, hope we get a dry weekend will probably pick all of them and jam them. Hope to dig up a few potatoes as well.
My raspberries are in their third year; I bought ten canes and haven't had more than a handful of fruit before, but now they're fruiting their little socks off. Last year I tried to grow beetroot as it's one of the few vegetables my mother will eat, but the seedlings perished after I planted them out. This year I've put them in a raised bed I've just built and they're looking good, about 15 plants with five or six leaves. The toms are looking good too, and I didn't sow any! I sowed all my seeds in a mix of coir and home made compost, not all of them grew, but most of the pots grew toms. Last year mother decided that fruit pips were triggering her frequent tummy upsets, so I took to scraping the seeds out of tomatoes for her. They went into the foodwaste bin and thence to the compost bin, and now I'm getting free tomato plants. Got plenty of rhubarb too.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
