Unhappy Grapefruit plant!

Hi all, I've been trying to grow a grapefruit tree from seed in a large container and it shot up, started out quite well and lately the leaves have gotten pale and don't have that dark green waxy leaf you'd expect from a citrus plant! I've been feeding baby-bio citrus and no change... any suggestions?

Just standard mud for pots i think, should i change for something more suited to citrus plants?

I would. Yon can get soil suitable for citrus plants. I got a bag last year from homebase in the sale for 50p. I will get around to repotting my calomondin :)

It looks like it could be magnesium deficiency where the veins of the leaf remain green and the rest of it fades to yellow.

A change of compost would likely help and I would do that first and give a seaweed extract drench every 2 weeks in the growing season.
If after a couple of months there's no improvement, then get some epsom salts and dissolve 1 T-spoon in a litre of water and drench with that. You should only need to do this once.
