Dalia blooms hidden
I grow daliaas and other plants rotating them to show the, in bloom. About one third of the plants have too much foliage and hide the blooms - what am I doing wrong? example image attached.

That's a lot of foliage!
What are you feeding them with?

Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Perhaps you started feeding them too early?
Thanks for the responses. I've been feeding them general purpose liquid fertiliser once a week is that too much? Do I need to feed them at all?
Some feeds help produce folilage and other feeds help produce flower I would think the food you have been giving the plant is high in nitrogen so helping it to produce all the foliage.
I would be feeding it tomato feed which promotes flower. You can feed tomato feed to anything that you want to produce flowers.
I usually start feeding my dahlias and other flowering plants once they show flower buds, perhaps you began feeding them too early.
Yes, I think the general purpose feed has too much nitrogen.
Use a tomato fertilizer (e.g. Tomorite) which are designed to promote flowers not leaves
