Does anybody know what this is?

My parents think it's poison ivy and are telling me to get rid immediately but the only thing I've found online that looks similar to it is bindweed. Help!

    Bindweed! Best of luck it's not easy to shift I have it too and it's a constant battle and I think the weed is winning

    Poison Ivy doesn't grow in the UK.

    That's Hedge Bindweed - Calystegia sepium .

    Thanks guys! Just looked outside and it's closed up now. Shame it's such a nightmare as it looks really pretty around our bench!
