Help with a name for plant I see in front gardens
Can anyone help me with this. I have seen this small tree in front gardens but don't know what it is. They all seem to have been made into round' lollpop' trees about 2m high and have what looks like pink leaves at the outer edge of the tree and a cream/light green leave towards the middle. Very pretty looking. I have looked around a few garden centers but not seen one and anything I google comes up with other things.
Not the best description but we are always driving at the time, so I only get glimpses.
Thanks
Janet

I suspect they're salix flamingo which have been trained or grafted onto standard stems.
Like any salix (willow) they need a lot of water to do well, especially when first planted and thru dry spells.
That's the one! Thank you. I shall go and look up growing info and see if it is suitable for where I want it to go.
Thanks you.
