Tall begonias
this is my first time growing begonias. I bought trailing ones back in March and grew them successfully in a back bedroom. some grew taller than others. At the end of May I put them into baskets and troughs and most of them are so tall and upright and look silly ! As I bought them from 2 different places, I don't think there was a mistake.
What have I done wrong please?
And for this year could I cut them off lower down to allow them to maybe trail over?
Many thanks

Perhaps a pic might help?
You're not alone.
One year I grew a trailing begonia in a trough any it trailed over the side and looked great -

The following year I put it into a tall pot expecting it to do the same and-

I can only think that I planted in the trough at a 45° angle and it eventually drooped downward

I have taken a photo and gone thru the stages but it hasn't appeared in this box. Anyone help me on this pls?
Is your photo too big? try resizing it to about 1000pixels.
