Sweetcorn what size block works?

Hi all

I am growing sweetcorn this year for the first time and am a bit confused about what size block I should plant. Also can I mix varieties in the same block, or would I need two separate blocks. My varieties are Earligold F1 and Northern Extra Sweet F1. My raised beds are 14 ft x 4 ft, so at 1.5ft spacing I could plant 27 - 30 plants. Would this be considered a block or three rows of plants?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the bigger block of planting the better it works for sweetcorn

Okay got that on the varieties, but what about the size of the block, when growing in a raised bed?

I plant mine in a square block so if you have 25 I would plant five rows of five, or what ever fits in you bed.
