Help for my father's tomatoes

Hello to everyone!
My father needed my help regarding his tomatoes. His not good with internet and he asked me to ask others what they think or know about this illness!? And obviously if he can do anything to keep them healthy!

beefsteak toms are prone to this sort of disfigurement it can be caused by inconsistent watering (letting them dry out to much and then watering too heavily. (basically they split as the skins can't stretch anymore)
