Hollyhocks

I have a hollyhock growing, it's about 8' tall. When will it flower?

If it's that tall it will be flowering soon. Has it got flowerbuds up the stem?

  • Our hollyhocks are not in flower yet and we live in Guernsey.  There are plenty of buds but I wouldn't expect to see flowers until July even in this heat.  They will be worth waiting for Lynda.

Nice, is it the Nigra variety? They are just making an appearance here in the SE.

i love hollyhocks but the rust is so bad here I've had to abandon them. I'll just admire them in other gardens
