Issues with trees in back garden

Hi,

In my small garden I have 2 apple trees.

On one I have observed number of insects (photo attached). Can somebody advise if they are harmful or not to a tree? If they are harmful can you recommend the easiest way to get rid of them?

Second one is not growing as it should as some leaves are not developing as they should. Can you advice what might be a problem and how to solve this? Photos attached. imageimageimageimage

They look like ladybird larvae to me eating the aphid infestation. image

aphids make the leaves curl, ladybird turn up and eat the greenfly, new growth appears on the apple tree that's not curled, food chains at work.
