Help identifying a shrub

Steph HSteph H Posts: 9

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to gardening. Can I please have your help identifying this shrub in our back garden? It has just finished flowering, and has white flowers. It's in a very sunny spot and seems to thrive there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

No sorry I don't as it's not long finished flowering. And I'm having difficulty uploading a second photo to show the leaves more closely...

Yes! That's it. We've looked in our book and think it's likely Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus'. Thank you very much.
