Bird of paradise

imageimageimage

Hey I've had my bird of paradise for about two years now. I brought it from Eden project and it has grown a fair bit. I water it when the soil is dry and feed it with baby bio at the same time. It use to live in my living room infront of a pair of french doors and it was doing ok. I recently moved house and it now lives in a conservatory and is in the sun for most of the day. I noticed that the leaves were starting to malt, so I repotted it to a bigger pot but its still malting I have moved it out of direct sunlight but it's still not improving. I really would like to see this plant flower but I'm worried that it will die before it does and any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Will.

Since you put it into the greenhouse, have you started to water it more often? It could be your previous spot was far more cooler and shadier. In the summertime, it needs quite a hot but humid atomosphere. Putting it outside is fine now, but again, it needs to be watered much more right now. You mentioned you repotted the plant recently. The soil needs to be gritty. If you can, try to create a humid atomosphere for it. The greenhouse sounded ideal.

I don't fuss over mine, he flowers, I put him outside from May to September, or later if it's still warm. They don't really like heat, not from glass houses anyway.  Never fed it. Repotted a few times.
