image I haven't planted any this year but here is a picture that has a date of August 2015 on it.  The Cloggie is for scale (I wear size 6).  Not sure if it's helpful, but hope it is.

    Hi all

Project this year is to grow vertical, after a friend gave me a net so it sparked an idea I had from a picture I once saw with gourds, pumpkins and squash growing vertical.

So with a bit blue pipe and net I build a frame for them to grow up and over and when fruits hopefully appear too support them

Pictures are self explanatory hopefully what I am attempting to do. I also have planted under onions, chard and perpetual spinach

Will keep all posted on the growth, development and return

    Happy gardening

Space is at a premium so yeah its quite cozy in that bed. Its about a ft deep of compost which then turns into normal garden soil but hardly any room to expand. Suppose its trial and error, I'll see how they get on.

I 'borrowed' some of this wire mesh from work. Hoping this will be ok for support
