rhubarb leaves insect damage

Hi would anyone know how to stop my rhubarb leaves from getting damaged by slugs snails etc? I bought a slug trap that catches a lot of snails & slugs (20+ per night) but still the plant is still getting damaged.. see pic
ps. there was 6 leaves when i planted the others got munched!
