Are my fruit trees dead??

Hi
i planted 2 young fruit trees cherry and peach early spring befour they leafed up. the both started to grow and show leaf but then it's all gone downhill from there on. At present all leafs have fallen off and is looking pretty sad, I have scratched the branches and both trees are still green also the pear is trying to produce leaf ??? Could they be in shock as my apple tree I planted the same time is doing well....
any advise welcome...cheers Kevin.

Do you have any photos?
Have you been watering them regularly, it has been very dry at times.
