Kohl Rabi cropping

in Fruit & veg
How big should Kohl Rabi be before we crop it? I have shown a tea bag next to one for scale. Do they get woody, like Radish, if left to get too big?

They look to be the right size you can eat them cooked or roar with other salad stuff, just remember they come from the same family as cabbages and such like so don't plant any of that family in the same place because you could get club root. Regards Pete
Thanks. Look forward to eating them. We are using a proper crop rotation system now, although it's tricky when you have a relatively small veggie patch.
