Young wisteria with flower buds

in Plants
Hi all,
I bought a reduced wisteria from Aldi last year. I think it was wisteria sinensis blue. I did prune it in January but wasn't sure what i was doing but gave it a go
Today i noticed flower buds appearing with the leaves. I though wisteria blooms before the leaves appear?. I gave it some tomoato feed last week and the buds seem to have increased in size. Should i expect some flowers?
I am just training up a 7 foot post at the moment. My garden is probably too small for this plant but i couldn't resist the reduced price in Aldi last year

The buds looks a bit like this but are quite small.

Some wisteria flower before they put on leaves and some afterwards. Both forms are beautiful.
You can grow it as a standard if you don't have room for it to spread and you can also keep it pruned back to the width of space you have.
Great news. Thanks Obelixx. I didn't know some bloom after leaves come out. Looking forward now to buds opening. Didn't expect much from my Aldi bargain so I'm very happy
