Dove, that's a thought - but what about budgie-keepers, diy enthusiasts (or conscripts) and fly swatters?

    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Hehe B3!

Was pulling up Houttuynia only yesterday! And some Carex. And bindweed (although that isn't even allowed on compost heap!). And Alchemilla Mollis (like a bit on path edge but on my terms). I don't really like garish Fuschias but I tolerate mine just because they are healthy and slug-proof (bet they don't even rot down they so bullet-proof!)

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Houttuynia, looks great in my bog and I find it reasonably easy to control.

a friend gave me on and it sat on the worktop in the utility room for about 2 months before I decided it was dead enough to put in the bin. I didn't even dare compost it.

    Devon.

We had a thread like this before and I was amazed by the plants people didn't like. I'm amazed again! I like most of the plants mentioned. Topbird, how could you not like daffodils? image I like most plants and flowers, but I agree about coleus, not that keen.

But no one has mentioned yellow lamium. I will admit it has pretty leaves and pretty flowers, but it is such a thug. I had to dig up a flower bed this spring because it had taken over, even though I'd weeded it out last year.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Horseradish. Never ever grow this in anything other than a pot (otherwise known as the bin).

I love most of the plants everyone else seems to hate.

white feather is one of my favourite hosta.

i have a large Salix flamingo which to me is beautiful

Euphorbia Is a staple of my garden for shady areas

I much prefer Spanish bluebells from english

I always say I am not going to do petunias each year but they are so pretty I always end up with them but I do dislike the sticky deadheading.

oxtalis has its own bed so it can invade as much as it likes

now my pet hate is carex pendula as I hate the way it seeds everywhere.

i am not to keen on anything double headed as they look to top heavy

glads never stay upright for me

and I am fussy which roses I like. Only the old fashioned ones and they must have a scent.

this is why I love gardening as there is something for evergone and I am not going to get upset is someone hates what I love as gardening and the world in general would be a lot poorer if we all grew the same plants and liked the same things.

To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.
