That may be so B3 but they are lovely, just ad hoc and relaxed looking. I have been disappointed with some of my pots this year - Bishop of Llandaff big thumbs down although they were my best last year. Different peat mix, new tubers, something not quite right with them I suspect, but yours look great.
No petunias for me this year either. They look lovely, but hate the rain and also need constant deadheading. I have grown nemesia again in pots this year - they don't last more than a couple of months but are so colourful and easy to germinate too.
Oh my the nemesia are gorgeous. Another beautiful day here but a very warm dry wind which is wreaking havoc with my baskets and pots for the last few days. A few new things opening but everything is drying out too fast.
Old roses already in the garden garden when we moved in. They were overgrown and full of rust so I cut them back to nothing and they are beginning to thrive again
To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.
Hello all and thanks for your colourful pics! Here's a small selection of my June flowerings taken this morning before the sun got too hot for my liking.
Heuchera 'Chocolate Ruffles' in flower (against a background of Alchemilla mollis & pink lupins).
Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead' (against a background of Heuchera 'Chocolate Ruffles'). A very compact cultivar.

. I think that was what I was aiming for. Will I be able to stick to my no petunias rule this year? I've never managed it before.

Not my garden, but I liked it. Visiting Canberra yesterday, I found this little green space between rows of shops.
a very healthy Pyracantha. I can't understand why there are still berries when there are so many Cockatoos nearby.
