The BBC and ITV do some good drama and documentaries.

    Lyn says

"if we couldn't have Sky, we wouldn't have a television either. "

I have to say, if we could ONLY have Sky, we wouldn't have a tv either.

I'd rather give my license money to the BBC than pay Rupert Murdoch.

You have to pay your licence  money anyway, unless you watch everything on catch up, whether you have Sky or not.

You have to pay for the licence if you have catch up now. But you don't have to pay for a licence if you are over 75, like my OH.

I didn't mean it wasn't good, it was, but I felt that all the way through they were trying to portray men as weak and stupid, and putting them down, I find that a lot with programmes these days, I'm all for women doing what they want, getting too jobs etc, but not at the expense of showing men up.

Did anyone watch Gluck, brilliant, I have ordered the books.

Lyn, I didn't say that you did. Somebody else said the same thing. I don't mind that, it's just a drama.

Hostafan1 I wouldn't go to those lengths to finish Watching a series.

Lyn, I remember you saying that . I checked: it was written by a man. Not that that means anything.

Logan, it was one of those " let's just watch one more....." situations, then I realised there was only one left and it's not like  we had to get up early.
