Hi all, can anyone id the following please in our new garden? The first is a shrub with beautiful small pink fragrant flowers, the other is a tree that has turned the most amazing colour.  Thanks very much!imageimageimage

I think it could belong to the Cercis tree.  family. But the leaf shape I don't think is correct.

I wouldn't be as precise as 'Dawn' for the first but it's certainly one of the pink winter flowering viburnums

I think the second is a witch hazel, hamamelis

Another possibilty for the tree is a relation of the witch hazels called Parrotia persica or Persian ironwood. When the treeis older it has scaly bark like a London Plane. Leaves are shinier than Witch hazel and the floers are like small red witch hazel flowers inspring and not scented.
