Solanum capsicastrum or S. pseudocapsicum. Don't eat the berries, they're mildly toxic, to us and to animals, although birds will take them. Not hardy, but tough enough to sit outside until it gets chilly, then it must come in to somewhere not too hot, but in good light.

Whichever it is I would pot it up now and move it to a brightly lit but frost-free place.
