I waited until most of the early Windows 10 bugs had been ironed out then went for it - after all they're not going to keep doing the patches for the older versions for ever, so I went for it while it was still free. I like it - I've had no problems, but there are some little idiosyncrasies - as there were with all the earlier versions
Back from SM with beer, cider, bread and loo rolls plus a few other essentials like bacon, sausages and cheese. They seem to have run out of Sanex shower gel but have double the usual amount of Sanex bath stuff - methinks there's been a blip somewhere . Good job we have enough to last the weekend!

Windows 10 installed itself, just when I was in the middle of writing an email. Didn't want it, don't care for it, Windows 7 was better. Laptop has been slower ever since.
Off to Kent soon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Windows 10 here and PC slower too despite parking all my photos and videos on external disks to release space. Plus it stopped me sending mails using Windows Outlook. What kind of company releases a product that doesn't work with their own software? All sorts of bovvery bits since and little to no support form Microsoft or apologies. All help has come from the user community. Next PC will probably be a Mac.
Getting hot again here. Garage sorting this morning and bringing sorted stuff down from the attic to go to the dump or Troc accordingly. Attic again this pm then a good clean all round. The end of sorting is in sight. Just need to pack it all now........
Then plants to sort.

I used to have a strap - but it disappeared about the same time as Windows 10 arrived - fortunately I've got a pretty good memory ......... so far

Ahaa, Windows 10 is it? Which one is the confused icon - it's one I use a lot!!
I opted out of Windows 10. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I say.
(That one's disappointed Daisy)
