😄 They certainly do! Pingu is funny, his way of asking for food is to sit on a certain bit of raised bed wall and look over his shoulder at me, then sprint across to the sultanas I flick on the lawn, every sultana goes through the same routine, one at a time. I find it so therapeutic watching them all, and love getting to know each bird's character.
Lovely that you have wrens. No ours did not come back this year. Between the cats, dogs and foxes it’s probably better they find somewhere safer to nest. The fledglings spent weeks on the ground, hopping about and my heart was in my mouth.

There was always a toad under the slabs when we were kids. Haven't seen ours for a couple of years. 😢
