  • Fine now thanks Logan, they had fish for a couple of days, then gradually back onto their "normal" food, Vet said white, stuff, pasta, (they dont like it) chicken, fish, they arent keen on rice, it was just a niusance it co-incided with me having to get up at 5, and its difficult being in someones elses house/garden, with dogs with the "runs", unfortunately, there is a big hole in my Daughters neighbours fence, she has had most of it replaced, but this bit was just trellis, and has rotted.  Funny how Luna who is terrified of the vacuum cleaner manages to walk right by it, to "murder" the wooden dollies in the grandkids dollshouse!!!  I dont expect that does her gut any good but she will eat anything, and you cannot physically keep everything out of her way!!!  At least we arent the only ones.

Here's all of the other lovely labs we've fostered this year, all have their own story to tell but thankfully they have all found new homes...

Leadfarmer they're all lovely, glad that you found good homes for them.imageDo you find it hard to give them up when you do find a home for them?

It can be quite hard, but at least when they go it means they have found a nice home.

We never know how long we will be having them for as we are just a foster home for a labrador rehoming charity, we look after them until a home is found, or until they reach their specified foster home.

My wife is a volunteer for them and I can come home one day and find she's collected a dog at short notice. I can come home another day and find the dog gone as the charity has found it a home. Usually we have a bit of notice though.

Theres a network of volunteers around the country and they help each other out looking after the dogs, and relaying them around the country to a foster home such as ours or to their new home.
