I totally agree Verdun, I remember the millenium bug very well - aeroplanes falling out of the sky, computer-driven lifts plummeting to the basement, the entire financial system crashing.... except it didn't happen. Which is why I, like you, take no comfort from any of the politicians on either side.
I fully intend to vote, one cannot criticize or disagree with decisions made, unless prepared to make a point of voting.
One post did amuse me though, can't remember who it was and certainly don't wish to offend, but if listening to the news is upsetting and so isn't a part of your life, how can you make an informed decision on what I personally think is going to be the most important vote of a lifetime, not just mine, but my children's too.
Oh yes Tetley, immensely . I think it is good to debate sometimes, even though most will never change their view, it is still interesting to hear the points from the opposite side of the fence.
I believe someone mentioned statistics during this thread (or maybe it was another thread I am not sure), but I have a totally different way of looking at statistics than most -
"statistics say that an average of 20% of all fatal car and motorbike accidents up to 2013 were caused by/involved drunk drivers"....... that means that 80% were sober. You are statistically safer with a drunk !! Since looking at it this way, I do not give any credence to statistics giving by any government.

Now back to posting all about my garden problems
And your evidence that we won't?
The ONS, have done the analysis, which suggests that we are better off in.
When you don't even know who's in the team

I replied, because I was asked a question. It would have been rude not too.
