Thanks everyone, what a fantastic card Lizzie. My main present was an iPhone. Then he unwrapped a huge parcel and there was a Drone in it. It's really for both of us, but a good excuse to spend more money . He said it will be helpful to inspect the gutters on the various roofs in fire season and of course to get some interesting photos around the property.
my daughter gave me a large number of gelpens for my adult colouring activities. My son said he has bought some heavy duty paper for photocopying said colouring pages. I am expecting a parcel from the UK (from the SAA group) which is the only thing I asked for, which is a DVD and book and pointer which will show me how to make art on my iPad.
Well, that's it I hope.
The funny thing is that I will miss my old phone which was very basic - no photos or games - just a phone. Now I've to get to grips with finger prints, games, email (when I'm within range), photos, and two whole screens of icons which I have no idea they are about. My excuse is that because of old age, it's too much. It did take a few good photos in our daughters flat though.
Time for me to get out of bed. I've a neighbour who wants to bring a present she made and the house is a mess. Thanks again all.
My neighbour brought a couple of hand knitted cotton dish cloths. They are very well done, so I'll try them out later. Lots of sun (and wind) today, so taking the opportunity to catch up on washing clothes.
