  • Hello, I was looking back at an old potato thread DFA advising me not to nick beach sand and saw this snow drop walk.  Is it open still? Could I come.

Also there is or used to be a snowdrop area in Dunwich which was lovely.   Unless its dropped into the sea.

Hi Maggie, of course you can come. Keep an eye on the thread for finalisation of date and time. I hope the PM system will be working again before then so we can exchange some phone numbers, it makes meeting up easier.

    Where  are you?

  • Brilliant, thank you.  Will keep watch.   I am in Rattlesden near Stowmarket. My car is in dock at the mo, but might be fixed next week maybe Wednesday.

  • Perhaps the 18th would be better - it's half term but I don't suppose it'll be that busy.

The week before that it's closed.

It'll be lovely to meet you Maggie.  image

Yes, the woods around Dunwich are full of snowdrops at this time of year image

Probably a bit far for some people tho'.

    Nut, those are lovely image

  • image ..... what about the rest of you?

I'm sure PMs will be back by then - but if they're not I'll ask Nora to pass my email address to people who are coming, then we can liaise and swap mobile numbers image

  • Please dont change your dates for me, as I could always get a lift to Stowmarket Station and I can check out buses.

18th is slightly better for me than the 25th image (and I'd rather meet sprogs in batches of 1 or 2 with (grand)parents than in herds of school parties.... image ).

Maggie - I live just over a mile from you (how nice to know there is another forum member so close) - so it would be daft for me not to offer you a lift - probably have to go via Stowmarket to collect a Panda from the station but it would be lovely to have some company for the whole journey. image Will exchange full addresses / phone numbers when we can do so out of the public eye image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Maybe not.  Via Norwich or Downham!  Complex.

  • Thank you Topbird yes I would be very grateful for a lift.  Catch you later.
