We can do Tuesday 9th and Saturday 13th, but looks as though that's not on. The timetable looked to me as though the snowdrops are open most days in February.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I spoke to Wonky last night - looks as if she'll find it difficult to get a weekday off in February - she and her lovely hub may have to do their own mini-walk one weekend.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Walsingham Abbey looks good BL - but it's twice as far for me & adds nearly an extra hour to the journey both ways. Not so bad in the summer - but I'd rather not at this time of the year
Just to throw it into the mix - I don't mind if we do Oxborough at a weekend - although it will be busier. Probably not a Sunday though - often problems for those using the trains.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Walsingham Abbey is lovely and not very far from us, but I rarely go because whenever I've been at snowdrop time the parking is abysmal - there have been occasions when we've given up and just driven to the coast rather than try to find somewhere to park.
I could do a Saturday .......... what do people think?
