  • Thanks Winniecat!  I have actually grown Cosmos this year and the plants

are huge, but they don't have many flowers or buds on them for some reason.

I have had success with them other years, so maybe it was the cold, wet

spring we had on the South Coast.  Gold Finches love the seeds too when

the flowers are over don't they!  Lovely picture and great flowers - thank you

    for posting it!

  • Thanks Fairygirl - I guess I'm going to survive to do a lot more ragwort

    bashing!

  • Nutcutlet - I've PMd you!

Good morning ffb. Thank you. I made a discovery today, something I hadn't noticed before. Black doesn't mean ripe for Viper's Bugloss seed. As the flower spike turns brown the seeds go beigy-brown. That's ripe. It explains why I couldn't remove the black ones. I'll be harvesting any day now, just waiting for a few more to mature

Is flowersforbees  the same person as Wild about Flowers?

Wild about Flowers enquired earlier on different thread about Missing toolbar:

"I have the same problem you had Birdy13 so will take your advice
and email [email protected]. Will let you know what
    happens and thank you!"

Are you both the same person? Have you now got your toolbar because if you got no response from your email you can sometimes raise them by telephone or try emailing Naomi Jones at

    [email protected]
