I risked life and limb last summer taking these pictures!! It is unusual to see a pipistrelle bat in the daytime, I think bats are fantastic little creatures!

    Bats are great Betty. image

  • I was thrilled to get a wren nesting last August, the box had been up for 2 or 3 years prior to it moving in, and so I set up my camera on the tripod and waited very patiently on and off for days!! Beautiful little bird. The day after these were taken they left so I felt priviledged to have got these shots. x

Betty don't apologise! It's all about gardens and that's exactly what you've done- shown us your lovely plot image

The wren is terrific- I bet you're thrilled you got the pix before they went. The bat ones are great too - all the wildlife in a garden is what makes it special.

Fidget - lovely pix too. The bee on  the scabious is beautiful. I've had a lot of bees recently so that's quite heartening. We've had quite a lot of hot and dry weather so at least they're getting out now.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
