Thanks nut - you're a star as always! Will check that out image

It just came in from somewhere but no idea where! May even have been in with one of the plants bought from the nursery for last house as we got loads from there.  It will work well in front border.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I think this is a penstemon, a tiny one, I bought it at a plant fair last year and it hadn't got a label when i got it home

    Anyone know what it is?

    Lovely pictures all

Am making a shopping list - Verbascum clementine is at the top !

Love the astrantia, nut - that makes it on to the list too.

And Verdun - geums are my flower of the moment - have some Mrs Bradshaws strutting their stuff, and 6 Bells Bank arriving tomorrow (I hope!).  They just go on and on (and the wind doesn't flatten them.  Agree with Wintersong that the wind is the worst enemy of all).

Well I'm loving all these plants so much.

Bev, that Clematis is one f my favourites. So elegant.

happymarion, that combo is really awesome and one of my favourite (blue and rusty orange)!

Those geraniums are really pretty, I love the white Dianthus and nut, your Astrantia is flipping marvelousimage

I've grown mine from a 50p dried up sprout from last year that's flowering and putting on good growth this year but nothing to match your example image

Also love those types of Penstemon. I have the fatter bell type in purple and white, but I think I much prefer the tube type flower and in those reds. I really wouldn't mind finding one of those in my GC although I'm currently avoiding it since my wish list is almost endless image

I'm so pleased that you all like that Verbascumimage As Nut knows I too like Astrantia; first met them at a Sandringham plant show, they are not too showy but always attract attention. I like that coral coloured penstemon.

Winter; as always your garden is so elegant; what is the little 'hut' next to the white trellis fence? Is it a bee hive?

art- I wondered about Wintersong's little hut too -also thought it was a beehive.

Nut - I looked up the link you gave and it's identical to the geranium so many thanks for that-wouldn't have doubted you for a minute! Love Mrs. Sinkins too   - recognised it's lovely frilly edges right away. Used to have it many years ago - beautiful scent.
