One thing you can do is link a photo to your marker. In the description use rich text and select the picture icon and then you need the url of an image to paste in
e.g
http://s3.gardenersworld.com/uploads/images/profileimage/18291.jpg which is Busy-Lizzies profile pic usually you can right click on an image and choose copy image location. I've added a photo I posted a couple of days ago to my Pin on the map I've also changed the icon for my pin a little too.
Busy-Lizzie you are on the map. If anyone else want's to be added just put in a request on this thread and someone will hopefully make a pin for you.
What happens if you change your profile pic? Thanks for sending mine on that link. I don't always find computers easy, though doing this forum has taught me a lot, such as how to use "photobucket" which means now that the photos here won't enlarge and have white around them there is another way of getting round it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Yay - I'm a blue balloon in Romsey. Took me a while to work out that you need to click on edit
