Sorry to be so late in replying; am 'enjoying' scrubbing 190 paving stones on my hands and knees. The compost course is run by Norfolk County Council I think. After 2 days we become 'Compost Masters' . We are then expected to go and give talks about making compost to various groups, e.g. W.I, allotment groups etc. It has taken over a year of waiting to get onto the course; I think it is only held once a year. I will take notes and report back!
Soda crystals, bleach, white vinegar, but the only thing that really seems to work is cheap non-bio detergent and a big scrubbing brush and then mop it all up. I have been told not to use a pressure spray machine as it washes away the mortar.
Been away for some time, maybe after stirring the churn, the forum is without the 'crowd'. I didn't get an invite, not that I'd be interested, wish them luck, quite happy here, sad to hear that people had pm's, a wee bit pathetic tbh but meh, what can you do?
Anyways, glad lots have stopped here, I know I will
Lilylouise, short version a number of people decided they didn't like associating with the riffraff and started a private forum and sent private messages to recruit people who they considered their type of people. Some of us didn't get an invite hence the joke about the lepers.
Brummie ben has been awol for a bit and is just catching up with events.
The end result is a friendlier and happy place with a great spirit of community and nothing of value was lost
