FG Such an improvement with the shed tucked away. You are doing so well. It's fun isn't it planning preparing and then planting - hard work thoough!

I've still got an obsession with the alliums, they'll probably still be there when next years push up alongside them!

Lobellia starting to flower, New un-named grass in front of it. Sticks behind mark where I've just planted 9 more, yes you've guessed it - allium bulbs!

Thanks for the kind comments! I have the plan all drawn up- have done for months so it's just a question of putting it in place, but measuring up properly is vital  before you start and now I've got the beds under way it feels more positive. The weather this year has been a great help - some of the work would have been  murder if we'd had the kind of summers we normally have up here. Still a long way to go and no doubt I'll want about 10 times the plants that will actually fit!

The lawn may get smaller and smaller.....image

MrsG I nearly but some Alliums at Morrisons today!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
