Thank you art and Singy. Very kind. It's sadly about the only thing growing in my garden just now...image

    OK I'm exaggerating a bit!

Pouring here now but it softens the ground up for me- been like concrete here so I don't know why I'm having to mix it for the posts! image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ive just emptied my first bag of spuds after the high winds pretty much snapped all the stems/shoots, they where about 3 foot.  But sadly after emptying the bag i ended up with 20ish that are of an edible size, the rest where like peanuts. image

Verd I'm starting to look like Popeye. If I find myself thinking about getting a pipe I'll know I've crossed a line....image

Singy shame about your spuds. I think I might get some foxgloves for front border to give  a bit of height between the other shrubbier plants especially as they're quite small just now. The pix of your lovely white ones recently have made my mind up for me! image

Deano - can't believe how incredibly neatand tidy your whole plot is! It's fantastic image

Your spuds look as if they're coming on a treat. Have you had any yet or is it too soon?

Hope granddaughter appreciates your hard work. What's your project then?

  • Dean- again gold star for tidyness.

My clematis has now opened enough to look like it should. Shame the Dr Rupple also in the pic has gone over image

Really pretty, Bev. I bought one once that should have had a purple middle like that, think it was called "Florida", but it turned out white all over.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
