    No i have not ever done it but heres the article

    assumed by keeping them on the dry side it hardened them off

    That is what I said- not keep watering-do not agree though with getting them to the wilt stage.

    My false sunflower is starting to show above the dirt and more honesty seeds coming up these may be less leggy than the other come up even though sowed at the same time they decided to pop up later

    Hi All, 

    I know this is all a bit sad compared to some of the pics posted but wanted to update a couple of things. 

    Here is the new pic of the Rose campion seeds that Lyn sent me this is just 3 weeks after the last pic I posted

     And here is my very spritely everbloom lilac which arrived as just a twig 2 weeks ago with no leaves whatsoever.

    They need pricking out now Dave, not much nutrition left in that pot now. I would pot that lilac on as well as its now going to grow fast.

    Happy to report all Canary creeper seeds are up along with Sweet Sultan, Cosmos , Rudbeckia . Dwarf Poppies and cuttings from African Violets . image Also, basket seed disks which were an experiment. They are doing very well.

    Well done Jean, dont put the canary creepers out till all risk of frost has past, once established they grow about 10 feet in the season. You can collect the huge seeds for next year, not that I have tried mine, as I wanted a change this year.
