    Anemone blanda are flowering, the tulips will not be.

    Strangely enough, although not many daffs are out yet, I do have a few tulips, probably because I didn't plant them so deep.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    I have buds on the tulips but they refuse to open as there is no warmth and so no pollinators.  My daffs have been out some weeks now and of course they have not been polliated and are lasting and lasting.  swings and roundaouts, eh, Lyn.

    a lot of my daffs have spoiled and the slugs had a go at them,the tiny daffs are o.k .My tulips in pots in the garage are doing well and the ones in the garden are just showing.I spotted  one patch of lung-wort coming out ,spring cant be that far off can it?

    Arabis, Lyn.  Aramis was one of the Three MUsketeers!.  Lovely pictures. Like your rocks.  After people and plants rocks are at the top of my favourite things.

    That's it Marion, I just couldn't think of the right word image

    Rocks is something I have plenty off, we have build a dry stone wall with what's been dug out of the garden so far, and I have only just started the garden
