I tried them in pots last year but they dont seem to grow in my greenhouse as they dry out so quick i sowed them in trays in the garden that never worked then i was going to throw the lot onto the border but with other problems i never got round to it i have some lovely hollyhocks i bought online so i must try and grow those
You could try testing your seeds to see if they are still viable. When it's time to sow, sow a few on some damp kitchen paper, preferably in a small propagator, if not cover the container with cling film and pop them in a dark cupboard, providing it's warm enough, if they start to sprout, they are viable.
I have not had a chancecto get january edition yet so will see if i can getvone tomorrow. What is the seed club? We could start something like that here?

Hello joyce
I have seeds that sometimes are out of date - but as long as they are keept dry they should be ok.
I keep mine in old candy floss pots ( plastic sealed pots)
Where do you seed swap?
Have you got any seeds you want to swap?

Good luck
We'll probably get some more interesting plants through our system as well.
