There is nothing better at the end of tiring day than sitting with a cup of tea at my kitchen table whilst 'chatting with friends' and enjoying the beautiful fragrance of my sweet peas image

I am cutting them tomorrow David, most of them have come out yesterday/today, I cut a load on Saturday, couldn't throw them in the compost heap, I'll just fill the house with sweet peas image

image After all the hard work, we don't want them going to seed.

I took loads to an old people's home today......according to the staff, the smell brings back childhood memories.

I had 5 or 6 vases of them most of last summer and still gave loads to mum and dad and friends, 4 flowers out one, they smell amazing!

  • This is one day's cutting from another year......so you see why I need to dispose of them.

You see David, told you you need to move to Sheffield, I' d happily give that lot a home!

  • OL - I see the stems are nice, long & straight......just to prepare you, as the season progresses the stems will shorten substantially, so have some egg cups standing by. image
