Yes green, we came here 10 years ago to a wilderness and are gradually clearing and planting. We have some nice sitting areasimage

  • Lily, I'm seriously envious of your woodland garden.. not of the amount of work that must be involved though

Susan Porter the white tall flower is Physostegia Snow Queen, I didn't know it was called the Obedience plant, I have just tried to turn a flower and I cant do it.

The hedge hog sign is actually made from pennies.

green fingered finch the pink flower is a Penstemon and comes up every year.

Just finished gardening for today, still trying to get ready for opening next Sunday.

I need Lily Pilly seating area, right nowimage

thank you for the scarecrow comments, he does seem to have a friendly face, it would be lovely if a bird decided to take up residence not in my wetsuit perhaps but his hair would be fine image

    Everyone's gardens are looking fabulous.

I hope my garden is still there when we get back from England. France, Dordogne has been having a heatwave for weeks and daughter says housesitter's watering is somewhat lacking.

Lyn, you said clicking on upside down photos makes them turn the right way up. Not on my laptop it doesn't.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

The snow has changed to rain and now the river has started to flow with a good amount of water again. The Roos have been enjoying grazing the wet grass. The vegetable beds are going to stay covered For a bit longer. Spot the roo peeking at me from behind my empty pot stand In the last photo. All the driveways and the contour banks are sloppy and the temperature is about 7c. Bah!

2.30pm Thursday. There's nothing like photos to make me realise what a dog's breakfast I've ended up with in the garden - typical winter gloom descends. The  large pallet laying on its side WAS standing up against the fence for Hubby to move to a useful location, but the big winds that accompanied a recent storm blew it over.  I have a feeling that white ants (termites) might beat him to it.  These things can't be rushed.

I am grateful that he is able to guide me through the various messes I regularly make on this awkward IPad. He's threatening to buy me a lap top, but I'm not sure it'll make any difference except for a keyboard that can accommodate my finger tips.
