    dont be tempted to sow the Cleome till the latest times shown on the packet, they really are a heat loving plant, dont be tempted to plant out until June, they will go right through the season then.

    I shall definitely hang on for a bit.

    Every year I jump the gun and sow seed far too early - and, of course, end up with a load of sorry little leggy seedlings that keel over and die.

    Patience is a virtue!

  • Have just had a sort out of my seed box and have the following if anyone's interested (all unopened)

     coriander

    Mimulus 'extra choice mixed'

    wallflower 'choice mixed'

    calendula 'art shades'

    eschscholzia 'red chief'

    I seem to have an aversion to hot colours in the garden hence these going spare!

    wish list is anything pastel, white or purple!
