Charlie, I've grown various dicentra from seed but never tried D. spectablis. I've always cold germinated the ones I have done, sow when ripe, leave outside over winter.

I should have what was formerly called Dicentra macrocapnos seeds later (subject to setting seed, one plant has collapsed) image I'll post them on here if they come to fruition

Thanku nutcutlet. I will do that. They are ripe at present so I will sow tomorrow. See if I'm successful next year.

I have collected Lychnis Coronaria, saved some for Susan but loads left.

Also, the free packet of Dianthus superbus 'mixed' on the cover of this weeks gardening mag.

Still got some of the seeds I mentioned before.

  • Hi Granma, edible and ornamentals please. I've  got a garden I tend at home and an allotment.

Jo47, yes please.  I'll have some crocosmia. I appreciate this.
