To debbie Today at 9:35 AM To Lou Colvin Today at 10:21 PM This weekend suits fine Lou Here I will explain a little more about these free plants, before you decide if you actually want them! I gain these plants free also, as I forage a lot of stuff, including kelp from our local beaches, I use this kelp on all my beds at home, as a natural fertilizer, my plants grow 4 times faster and stronger with it and are totally organic. I currently keep about 50% of these plants alive, and allow them to go to fruit, which I eat or sun-dry and preserve in oil with dried herbs, the rest I generally dump or give away for free. Here is the science bit! Millions of people eat tomatoes, and these millions of people can not breakdown the seeds from tomatoes, so therefore these seeds are passed, just like a bird eating a fruit can not digest the seed and instead dumps it out of there body in a neat little package filled with the right nutrients to make it grow! Hence the strange trees that suddenly pop up in your garden as saplings or the flowers that you know for certain that you did not plant! Unlike birds, we use the loo, and all our waste is filtered out to sea, where is spends most of the year being washed, eaten, or simply washed back up to shore and passed over the rock 10 millions times before I get anywhere near it! So its a well weathered and well washed seed! I have about 100 seedlings, from my farming expedition of kelp about 5 weeks ago, uprooted about 1000 in last two weeks, if not more, but at this time of year they grow and spawn much faster, god only know how many millions I have dumped during the spring, due to just scarifying the ground, and not even looking for these little plants, because I know they will not survive a hard frost, I feed my beds kelp whenever I get a chance to forage it, generally 4 times a year! You can have half of these, although they will need pulled or dug out first, which you can do or I can help They are self seeded, not sown, so hardy already! There are only 4 leaves on most, I generally use a kelp fertilizer on all my beds and you get these as an added free bonus once the kelp breaks down, among millions of other weeds ofc, I generally know what is what in my garden, and the tom plants all have the furry stems, so easy to tell them apart there can be many different types of tomato plants among them If you think this is a strange email and refuse to grow and eat these then fear not, just buy any tomato from your local supermarket, eat the flesh and sow the seeds in your soil, they will be up in a couple of weeks! PS on that note, all fruit and veg seeds where originally foraged by mankind when visiting new lands, when they first landed on shores of new lands, to this very day the most expensive vegetables on the market to buy are those foraged from the shore, now known as "wild"! But these are the true veg and fruits, You can forage carrots, kelp, "dulse", sea peas, sea lettuce, horse raddish, mushrooms, parsnips, potatoes to name but a few, all from your local beach to this very day! If you are not bothered by how the seed is gathered, then head to your local beach and take the broken up kelp from the top of the beach, not near the shore and just chuck it over your beds, and watch in awe as you gain millions of free tomatoes of ma
