Bit of a wrong time Justin, at this stage of the plants life we are cutting the runners off so they dont sap strength from the plant, there will be hundreds in a few months time ready for next Spring.

  • I think I passed some cornflower yesterday, out in full flower, so you may be too late to plant, not sure though as I mainly grow herbs and veg! But as there growing wild on a bank, im sure I could collect some seeds when the flowers go off if you want? Again, not sure how long they flower for either, but I pass that bank weekly!

Hi!  I am looking for a dwarf bird of paradise plant (or two).  I live in North Dakota (USA) and have only been able to find seeds.  When I ordered the seeds, I never got them.  After reading more about starting them, I would rather buy a plant.  Do you know where I could get one?  Do you have one you would part with?  I have the regular version and love it.  I really would like to try the dwarf version as well.  Thanks!

Sue, this is a UK site so I wouldnt think anyone would be able to send plants to US.

You may do better looking at a US based site.

Hi Sanjy67, I have been thru my seeds and I have found sky blue white bee seeds, Globe Thistle bright blue and Nigella Miss Gekyll Blue. White flower seeds I have nicotiana sylvestris, foxglove alba, verbascum snow maiden, sunflower Italian White. Let me know if you would like any of them. Each packet has been opened.
